HOWELLS, Neb. – A big second half spurred a comeback win from Howells-Dodge over Johnson-Brock on Tuesday night.
Howells-Dodge (11-0) defeated Johnson-Brock (6-5) 56-42 in a game where the Eagles led by 10 at halftime.
Down 28-18 at half, Howells-Dodge answered with four straight touchdowns in the second half to give them a 48-28 lead with around five minutes in the 4th quarter.
Dylan Horejsi of Howells-Dodge ran for 243 yards on 44 carries and two touchdowns in the win.
Ty Hahn of Johnson-Brock scored three times, with nine catches and 140 receiving yards. Ben Clarke added 107 yards receiving in the game.
Howells-Dodge will play at East Butler next Monday in the state semifinals.
