Blair Independence Day Celebration Tomorrow Includes Games, Food, More

BLAIR – $9,456 dollars – that’s how much has been donated towards the Blair Fourth of July Fireworks Display according to the volunteers that have been collecting funds.  Twelve thousand is the goal, and donations will be accepted, even after the event.  You can give online – just check the Blair Area Chamber of Commerce website, or drop off checks at the Chamber Office or here at Real country 97 Three offices at 1015 South Highway 30, or mail your donations in to Blair Fireworks Display Fund, p.o. Box 736, Blair, Nebraska 68008

The fireworks display by Midwest Fireworks is at the former Dana Campus, now owned by Angel’s Share.  Angel’s Share CEO Ed Shada is providing the venue and electricity, D & M Smokehouse and South Creek Wedding and Events will have concessions, the Blair YMCA will provide family oriented games, and the City of Blair is assisting with refuse.  Music for the evening will be broadcast by Real Country 97.3 f.m. and is sponsored by WC Real Estate. Bring blankets or lawn chairs, our live broadcast and other activities start at 7pm.
