Columbus High Teacher Proposes During Valentines Day Pep Rally

COLUMBUS – A Columbus High teacher and coach took full advantage of the romantic holiday, proposing to a fellow CHS teacher during the school’s Wednesday pep rally.

Alex Liston set up the proposal through a “Wheel of Fortune” style game, where students flipped over letters, eventually revealing the proposal. Liston proposed to fellow teacher Brandy Singleton.

Singleton is an English Language Learners teacher, and Liston teaches special education, both at the High School. Liston works with both the girls basketball and boys football programs, while Singleton works with the softball program at CHS.
