King Appointed Supervisor in Harrison County, Iowa

BLAIR -.  A three person committee consisting of the county recorder, treasurer and auditor selected Missouri Valley resident Larry King to fill the seat left vacant by the unexpected death of supervisor Russell Kurth a few weeks ago.  Kurth died in a grain bin accident near Logan.   King served on the board in a similar capacity after the death of 2016 after the death of Gaylord Pitt.  He also served on the board of supervisors from 1995 to 2010. King begins the position immediately and will be on the board through the November 2018 elections.  Nine people applied for the  appointment.
