Volunteers Needed to Protect Former Dana Campus

BLAIR – Damage to one of the buildings on the Angel’s Share property – the former Dana campus, is prompting a call for help from former Dana students according to alumnus Bob Coffey.  He says a fire was started last night in one of the dormitories, and there have been increasing incidents of vandalism and trespassing.  No trespassing signs are posted.  Long time rumors of ghosts reported in some of the buildings may be drawing curiosity seekers, but many of those buildings are slated for demolition due to dangerous conditions.  If anyone would like to help keep an eye open for trespassers this evening, please contact Bob via the Dana Alumni facebook page.  Volunteers would be asked to keep an eye open and call 911 or the Blair Police department and not potentially endanger themselves by trying to handle any incidents.
