The Creighton men’s basketball team is returning to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in seventh seasons, and 21st time in program history. The eighth-seeded Bluejays earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and will meet ninth-seeded Kansas State on Friday, March 16 in a game played in Charlotte, N.C.

The Bluejays and Wildcats will play at 5:50 p.m. Central

The winner of Friday’s Creighton/Kansas State game will meet the winner of the game between top-seeded Virginia and 16th-seeded UMBC on Sunday. The winner of that second-round contest advances to the South Regional, held March 22 and 24 in Atlanta, Ga. Teams that advance out of the Regional will head to the Final Four, contested on March 31 and April 2 in San Antonio, Texas.
