Nebraska Football is just 29 days away, and the team will begin the first of 25 fall practices on Friday. Head coach Scott Frost said this offseason was perhaps the best one he’s ever been a part of.
The Huskers added a whopping 51 players to the roster since December. Frost likes the progress his players have made in the conditioning program – now he wants to see the improvements in action.
Given last year’s struggles and this year’s strength of schedule, many view the 2018 season as a rebuilding year for the Huskers. Frost is hopeful that his team doesn’t take that approach.
One player definitely not taking that approach is senior right guard Tanner Farmer. He’s no stranger to change – Frost will be third coach he’s played under in his career. The biggest thing Farmer has learned under this staff is how to become a leadership figure. As a leader, Farmer wants to hold his team to the highest possible standard.
