Huskers Will Head to First Spring Practice In One Week

The Nebraska Football team holds its first spring practice next Friday, and head coach Scott Frost went on a statewide radio show Wednesday night to give an update on how the team is preparing.

Frost said on ‘Sports Nightly’ that he’s encouraged by the work shown in the weight room so far.

The Huskers will hold one practice next Friday, take a week off for spring break, and then begin practice fully on March 26th. One big change this year; practices will be in the morning.

Many positions will be up for grab this spring, especially quarterback with Tanner Lee departing for the NFL Draft. So far, it appears that Tristan Gebbia and Patrick O’Brien are the leaders in the clubhouse.

Another position of question will be offensive line. Nebraska lost left tackle Nick Gates to the NFL Draft, but they return six linemen from a year ago that have playing experience. O-line was a position of struggle for the Huskers last year, and Frost wants to see that change immediately.
