KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 466 women’s softball student-athletes have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Softball Scholar-Athletes. Midland University was represented by a pair of softball players on the list.
Bailey Hartman, a senior from Bennington, Nebraska, and Stephanie Norrick, a junior from Grants Pass, Oregon, were both honored for their work in the classroom this academic year.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
